I helped one of my Uni-mate to design his company's packaging box.
Recently, I asked him whether that his company is still using my design because I did not see it in Malaysia. I feel so glad when he answered me that I would have see it if I am in China now.

It feels good when you know that your design is serving a purpose and it is a somewhere out from your own country.

I proposed 3 designs below.

Design 1 - RED as the main color with feathers to portray lightness

Design 3 - The company decided to go with this.

Sorbex

A few days back, I bumped into my ex-freelance-client in an event.
I helped him with his product packaging designs. The product brand name is Sorbex and the product range is about bio oil-cleaner.

The corporate color is orange.
I decided to use the corporate color with a dash of yellow and purple to spice things up.

I've proposed 4 design concepts.

My client was quite happy with Concept 4.

Based on that, I came out with the rest of the packing designs such as the bottle labels.

VXR LiPo Battery Label

VXR LiPo packaging is fairly easy.

It only consists of a silver labeling with design on it.

The design has been evolve through time and I have came out with the latest design for future branding demand.

VXR NiMh Wrap

VXR produced lipo batteries. 

To expand the business and to fulfill the market demand, we decided to do OEM  for NiMh battery which is  commonly use for R/C hobbyists.

VXR Aeromodel - Vortex

VXR Aeromodel was another division of VXR Racing Sdn. Bhd.

VXR Racing is the manufacturer for Radio Control (RC) cars line accessories whereas VXR Aeromodel is mainly for RC planes and other flying models.

Vortex is the name for LiPo batteries that is mainly for RC planes.

For this new launch, I were asked to come out the designs for the Vortex logo, battery packaging and a newsletter alert to be emailed out or post into the community forums.

Logo

The idea generation of course it came from the name itself, "Vortex".

My idea is to make the vortex concept into a tribal pattern and it must generate a dynamic feeling. Not something that is static as i know RC hobbyists love the idea of speed and wild.

TEAM 19

While I was with RC Planet, I have a group of rc hobbyists who would like to do some small business.

They have branded themselves as Team 19.

As a friend of them and as a designer, I was being asked to come out a logo for the group and to design packaging for their products.
